Geese get a lot of undeserved hate. Especially the Canada Goose

They are by far my favorite animal, and I think we need to show them
some proper love. So here's some cool facts about them.

  • Geese tend mate for life.
  • Intimidation is the main weapon of the goose
    they're not afraid to try to scare off big threats
  • They can fly 40mph (upwards of 70), and can
    travel up to 1,500 miles a day weather permitting
  • If the goose trusts you, they will eat treats right from your hand
    I've done it before and it's so cute
  • Goose feathers were favoured for making quills
